Marcus Hiles insists that people should choose air conditioning with seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) of 16 or even more. This is the fourth and final tip to save massively on energy bills. He adds that the higher, the better depending on the system even though the Department of Energy makes it critical for the latest air conditioners to have a 13 to 14 SEER rating. “As compared to a 15-year-old home with a 10 SEER unit, this will lessen your air conditioning bill by as much as 60 percent,” he says.
Marcus Hiles’ Western Rim Properties is well-known for its air conditioning efficiency that causes energy savings as high as $424,000 to community members every year. He says, “In five years, they would have collectively saved over $6 million. Across the next decade, we’ll reduce carbon dioxide emissions by a major 327,000 tons.”
